We are pleased to advise that effective April 1, 2021, the guaranty association will be providing policy and claims administration services to Hawaii policyholders. On March 1, 2017, Penn Treaty Network America Insurance Company (Penn Treaty) and its wholly owned subsidiary, American Network Insurance Company (ANIC), were placed in liquidation by orders of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. The Association is fully prepared to continue all operations. The Association’s physical office is closed. All staff are working remotely and have full capability to handle inquiries. You should continue to call 808.440.8763 or E-mail pinoue@hilifega.org as these means of communication are regularly being monitored. However, there may be a delay in collecting physical mail; therefore, we encourage use of email for written communication.
